 General Agreement

Super Short Track Racing Series (SST- Modified)

The following information has been provided to the undersigned Host Racing facility requesting the special event date of ___________20___ . (minimum 75 laps of competition.) An expanded purse may be necessary for additional laps or tow distance. All participants competing within the SST Event must hold a valid SST Tour license in order to compete in the listed event. All teams and associate members must comply with all rules and regulations set forth by SST and the listed Host Facility. SST representatives will organize the heat race and feature line-up.

SST Officials will participate in all official decisions pertaining to the listed special event. Host track scoring personnel and Host Track officials will be necessary for SST event. All Technical decisions, before and after the event, including eligibility, will be the reserved by the decision of the SST Representatives.

All participating SST Home Track Motor Sport Facilities and/or Special Tour Host Facilities agree to maintain proper insurance coverage for all SST events and promotions.

SST reserves the right to promote Series Sponsors & Advertisers during the event. Including but not limited to PA announcements, Promotional Flyers, Signage, Winner Circle celebrations, Photo Op’s ect..

Additional SST Sponsor display and sale opportunities will be necessary for SST Tour participants to comply with Series rules and regulations. Examples… Tires, Fuel, and Component race accessories ect…. 

Promotional Series advertisement leading up to the Special Tour Event, should include listing on schedule of events and ad copy within the Host Track weekly souvenir program. The SST Organization will supply appropriate logos for official use. The Special Tour event should be addressed by the correct name of the ‘SST Modified Tour’

 Guidelines of Amendments

Requests for rule change; procedure or adjustments to the SST sanction format will be required in writing with necessary documentation prior to October 31^st of the current year. This will allow in depth consideration of the change during the November year-end review meeting.

B-MAIN Procedure / Consultation Races 

· 50 –75 registered SST Teams

• · Five, 10 – 15 car heat races
• · 10 lap heat races
• · Five (5) qualify from each heat to equal 25.
• · Remaining top 30 teams move to the B-Main or broken up into multiple consi events
• · 20 lap B-Main- Ten lap consi
• · Top 5 qualify to move up to the Main Event – 30-car feature minimum.
• · All non-qualifying B-Main participants will receive points for their non-qualifying position

This format may be adjusted to reflect additional tow money for each non-qualifying team, or if more competitors are desired for competition in the Main Event.

All changes subject to the approval of the SST Organization and the Host Tour Facility

Home Track / Host Track Series Advertisement

All participating SST Home Track Motor Sport Facilities and/or Special Tour Host Facilities agree to advertise the SST Series and/or Tour date(s) within their own Souvenir Program Publication. The ad copy should be a minimum of ¼ page and printed for the duration of the season. All series sponsor should be represented within the ad copy for proper identification. The current season ad copy can be requested from the SST Series office prior to program printing. Additional multimedia advertisement is recommended.

General Rule Information

1. SST Rules All teams participating in any part of the SST Super Short Track Racing Series agree to follow the rules set forth in the official SST Rule book. This includes any amendments or decisions written or expressed by the SST Management and/or Officials.

• 2. Driver Qualification. No driver shall compete in multiple division races with the same vehicle. Example; Modifieds and SST Mods may not interchange during the same event weekend.

• All drivers must retain a valid SST driver’s license prior to competing in any SST tour event prior to July 30^th of current year in order to be eligible for series points or awards.

• 3. Pre- Tech. All SST competitors should arrive to the track allowing enough time for pre-race tech inspection. All teams must be prepared with equipment necessary to accommodate tech inspector’s request. All cars must be checked prior to hot laps.

• Failure to comply may result in disqualification.  

• 4. Penalty and Fine. Any competitor failing to comply during the pre–race inspection may be subject to a fine. Any infraction of the rules or disorderly conduct may be subject to disqualification and/or fine. All fines must be paid prior to resuming competition.

License & Home Track Eligibility

All teams competing within “Home Track” points must purchase an SST Series license. Licenses must be obtained prior to July 30^th in order to be eligible for SST awards and point fund. All SST Tour Participants MUST be SST license / Registered prior to Competing in any SST Tour Event (this includes choice of Home Track)

SST license fees are instrumental to help create the SST point fund.

Teams must compete a minimum of five (5) events at their registered SST Home Track in order to be eligible for “Home Track” points.
