SST Racing Series Growth 2007

Holland International Speedway joins the SST Series for 2007. With a very productive meeting between SST Director Jim Majchrzak, Paul White (Holland Speedway Race Director), and speedway owner Tim Bennett , the much anticipated addition to SST has been accomplished. Holland teams have frequently visited the 75-100 lap special tour events within the region, now there home track points (position) will count toward the overall series championship.

Holland representing teams will now be able to travel among SST tracks generating additional bonus points, in return, SST Modified teams can now enjoy the high-bank 3/8 mile oval as well.

Although tour dates have not yet been set, current SST teams are encouraged to add Holland Speedway to their travel plans. Current SST rules should be very similar for Holland participants without to many adjustments. Tech officials from both parties will be working out the details for an early January release. Log onto sstracingseries.com for more info.

Current Holland and new interest teams are encouraged to log onto the SST website (contact us section) to add their name to the newsletter. Teams will be able to register for their SST license at their home track registration meetings or the general SST meeting at the Gater Racing News Motorsports Expo at Syracuse in March.
