Based on the information recently received, this is a direct response to the technical decision of the current , Spencer Speedway management pertaining to the Friday, June 2, 2006 (SST Modified Division Race) .The following Official SST statement has been formulated as an attempt to maintain continuity between the SST Racing Series participants.
The creation of the SST Organization, in short, is to bring structure and direction to regional weekly short track divisions currently running within the northeast. The strength of the organization comes from the growing popularity and team participation with in the SST Modified Division. The affordability and awareness comes in part by the ability of the teams to travel within the organization under the same set of rules, regulations and points system.
Every effort to maintain this structure will be made as the information becomes more readily available. Over the next several days, continued attempts to meet and discuss with the powers that be, will be made. A decision based on this information will be made public on this website no later than Thursday June 8, 2006.
At this time we request all SST teams to be patient and not pass quick judgment prior to an Official SST release.
